A mare of exceptional conformation, grace, and athletic ability, Surangi has earned a reputation as both a competitive force and a representative of superior Arabian breeding.

Surangi's lineage is a tapestry of some of the most influential Arabian horses in modern breeding. Her sire, Shazam, is known for passing down exceptional athleticism and refinement. Shazam is sired by Marwan Al Magnifficoo, a renowned stallion foaled in 2006. Marwan Al Magnifficoo has an illustrious show career, including titles such as Canadian National Reserve Champion Stallion and Scottsdale Champion 3-Year-Old Stallion. His influence as a sire is significant, having produced numerous national and international champions.

Marwan Al Magnifficoo's pedigree further enriches Surangi's lineage. He is sired by Marwan Al Shaqab and out of Pacific Echo. Marwan Al Shaqab is celebrated globally for his exceptional type and has sired multiple champions.

On her dam’s side, Surangi is out of Talawat El Toya, a grey Arabian mare whose heritage is deeply rooted in the esteemed Egyptian bloodlines. Talawat El Toya’s sire, Ben Malik, is a stallion known for his classical type, with a refined head and strong top line that has been passed on through generations. Additionally, Ansata Halim Shah, another major influence in Surangi’s maternal lineage, is celebrated as one of the most influential sires in Arabian horse breeding, having left a global impact on the preservation of Egyptian Arabian lines.

Surangi's pedigree also traces back to influential foundation horses such as Raseyn, a 1923 grey stallion imported to the United States, and Sureyn, who played a crucial role in establishing the Arabian breed's presence in North America.

Surangi has proven herself in the competitive arena, particularly in the discipline of reining. She has received numerous association awards, including the Platinum Buckle from The Reining Society and the Legion of Masters from the Arabian Horse Society, in addition to being named the 23.2 Champion Junior Mare. Her success extends to series championships, where she was named Champion Rookie at Reining Riches at Blackjack and Reserve Champion Rookie at Road to the Horse.

Her performance titles include multiple championships in Advanced, Intermediate, Limited, Rookie, and Non-Pro reining categories. She has also excelled in halter classes, having been named Champion Junior Mare in Arabian halter competitions and winning Arabian Fillies categories in prestigious halter competitions.
