Prost is a remarkable horse in possession of all the qualities that define the quintessential Russian Arabian stallion — tall, strong, proud, and loud.

This is a horse that is ever impressed with himself and insists you agree with him. Stocked with presence and virility, with abundant strength of both body and will, Prost will not so much enchant you as he will consume you.

Sired by the imperial and commanding stallion Madiar, and out of the classic mare Preria, both of Prost's parents hail from the formidable Tersk Stud. His pedigree is brimming with elite Russian horses including the influential stallions Drug, Balaton, Nikel, Menes, Arax, and the important mare Monogramma — dam of the legendary Polish sire Monogramm. Prost is linebred on both sides of his pedigree to the great Aswan, an Egyptian import that introduced refinement and elegance to the original Russian stock. Russian Arabian horses are known for their strength, endurance, and versatility and Madiar was an important modern sire that possessed all of those qualities. Not only was he a successful show horse with numerous Russian gold championships, but he also proved adept at the track with a total of seventeen race wins. He is known to sire hardworking, talented and versatile horses as suited to sport as they are to the show ring.

Prost's dam, Preria, is a classic Russian mare who has proven herself in the show ring with a Russian junior gold championship as a two-year-old. A practical and regal mare, she represents the tried-and-true consistency of the Arax sireline on Aswan daughters that has proven to be a golden cross in Russian breeding. Preria has borne several notable offspring for Tersk Stud including the astounding show horse Jasmin Tersk, who has garnered immense success on the Russian show circuit with gold championships earned as both a junior and a senior horse.

Prost himself is a fantastic blend of these noble Russian bloodlines and it shows in his presentation and personality. He is brave, bold, and hardworking, undoubtedly masculine, and a delight to behold always. He carries himself with the pride and self-importance characteristic of his breeding, and why shouldn't he? He has proven himself to be a stallion of incredible ability, talent, and siring power. To date, he has sired talented, versatile and hard-working purebreds and Anglo-Arabians, with foals competing in Eventing, Dressage, western and endurance disciplines.
